Bluegrass Commons is a project of University Real Estate and Property Management, LLC.

Founded in 1986 by Bob Latimer, University Real Estate began by converting apartment buildings into condominium units. Additional condominium and apartment projects followed, from new construction to extensive renovations. University Real Estate has evolved from a construction oriented company to what it is today "A vertically positioned company involved in all aspects of the college housing business". To date, Mr. Latimer and University Real Estate have been the developer of record on over 1,400 condominium units at Universities throughout the southeast.
